1,786 aircraft sightings logged near Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (Data Edition of Oct. 21, 2026, no change from the week before).
Sky Watch logs military and private aircraft seen over the Dayton area from public ADS-B signals, the same broadcasts any hobbyist receiver picks up.
The live map
The live Sky Watch map is in beta with a small group of testers on Android. It comes to this site once it runs through a server that keeps the data key private.
What we watch for
- Military traffic in and out of Wright-Patt
- Private jets tied to companies and people on our trackers
- Unusual patterns: circling aircraft, surveillance flights, late-night arrivals
Aircraft positions are public broadcasts. We don't publish the movements of private individuals unless there's a clear public interest.
